LITs

|Leaders In Training - 10th - 12th Grade |

Welcome to Hilltop!

This is an outdoor unit for our L.I.T Program for campers entering the 10th thru 12th grade. Campers sleep in canvas tents built on wooden platforms with single beds, wheelchair accessible with boardwalk/ramps connecting cook shelter to two tents & outdoor Restroom.  This unit usually accommodates 16 Campers and 2 volunteers. Like all units the LIT Campers will be given the opportunity to swim, canoe, archery, crafts, sing songs and become skilled leaders in training. LITs assist program core staff with younger units. LITs have quite a bit of free time when they are not helping with programs. Their Unit leader comes up with fun activities to do together. LITs also receive a party on Thursday night as a thank you for all their hard work during the week.

LITs arrive at camp one day early to help set up and get situated for campers to arrive.
